The American Medical Women’s Association Chapter at the University of Houston is an organization dedicated to promoting the advancement of women in medicine. We aim to create a strong sense of community while providing resources to our members to help prepare them for their pre-health professions. Our chapter provides members with opportunities to explore an array of healthcare professions, advocate for women’s health, and to help benefit the Houston community.

Our mission is to learn about the medical, environmental, and socioeconomic determinants of health in order to protect and advance public health and well being.
Our mission is to provide quality tutoring and resources to increase knowledge facilitate collaboration and empower students to achieve academic and social success.
